The Women's Ministry is called to empower women to fulfill their purpose in Christ, providing a spiritual atmosphere where women are encouraged and esteemed in a place of belonging and acceptance, serving and furthering the kingdom of God.
"Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."
Romans 12:12-13 (NASB)
In numerous places the New Testament addresses women in the church specifically as women, calling them to live as godly women and to teach this godliness to one another (Titus 2). This specific emphasis implies needed time for women to be together and teach each other—primarily though the communication and prayerful application of God’s Word, with an eye toward knowing Christ and honoring him in all our relationships and responsibilities. While this teaching can take place personally, intentionally gathering together provides a community in which women can be empowered by them.
